Sterling Lexicon Employees Honored with WERC Service Awards

Liz Portalla and Kristin White recognized for contributions to the talent mobility industry association

(Jacksonville, FL - October 8, 2024) - Sterling Lexicon is proud to announce that two of its employees have been recognized by WERC®, the professional association for global workforce mobility, for their contributions of time and talent. Elizabeth (Liz) Bilek Portalla, CRP, GMS-T has earned a 2024 Meritorious Service Award for her work as a program planning committee member for the association’s annual Global Workforce Symposium (GWS); volunteering as an industry focus group participant and serving as a speaker or moderator at numerous WERC® educational events.

Kristin White is the recipient of a 2024 Distinguished Service Award for participation on multiple regional strategic councils and forums, engaging in several speaking and presenting opportunities at educational events and editorial contributions to the association’s Mobility magazine and website content. Liz Portalla is Sterling Lexicon’s VP of Client Services and Innovation and Kristin White is Director of Communications and Thought Leadership.

The organization is dedicated to educational and community-building initiatives, providing invaluable resources and networking opportunities for professionals managing employee relocations worldwide and advocating with lawmakers to support the global movement of talent. WERC® established its awards recognition program in 1989 to honor the contributions of its members. Awards are based on accumulating points earned for various activities. This year’s award recipients will be officially recognized at the 2024 Global Workforce Symposium, October 22-25, at the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

Kirsten Totin is Sterling Lexicon’s Director of Global Marketing, where she leads a global team of marketing professionals. She brings a wealth of talent mobility knowledge and B2B marketing experience to her role, having worked previously with Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics and its VERSA Relocation brand for more than six years, in addition to holding several other marketing, communications and project management responsibilities. She has a BA in Media Strategies, Communication and Media Studies from Texas Tech University and has earned Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing and American Marketing Association (AMA) Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) accreditations.
